Volvo XC60 Flip Book Mailer
This dimensional direct mail package, part of Volvo’s CRM campaign for 2009, was my baby from concept through copywriting. It targeted existing Volvo owners who had expressed interest in the Volvo XC60, a new crossover featuring a system called City Safety. The system automatically stops the car when it senses an imminent collision — a difficult concept to convey effectively in direct mail. To crack that nut, I proposed this package, centered around a flip book that replicates a video of City Safety in action.
Klein Construction “Blueprints For Success”
This unique piece generated sales leads for Klein Construction, a specialty construction company in suburban Chicago. The piece was mailed in a blueprint tube, and included a USB drive programmed with a PDF brochure that linked to a personalized microsite.
